Turkish Coffee

Anyone know a coffee shop in LA that makes Turkish coffee? One of my friends was telling me about it - and I'm interested to try some.

Thanks!

Ice Pan

Has anyone been to Ice Pan yet? I saw the writeup about it in the LA Times yesterday, and it looks like it is some kind of ice cream concept store. Apparently they make the ice cream right in front of you. Is it just like Cold Stone? I think it is in the Target shopping center in West Hollywood.

Bean & Cheese Burritos--Who has the BEST?

Wahoo's has the best bean & cheese burritos! They're pretty cheep too!

The Truth About Robert Irvine?

I know TMZ is not the most reputable news source, but this is what they have on their website:

"Dinner: Impossible" chef Robert Irvine has been fired from the Food Network's kitchen!

After it was discovered that Robert lied about his credentials -- including having designed Princess Diana's wedding cake -- Food Network honchos investigated the situation and today released a statement saying they "have not renewed Robert's contract for future seasons" and "will be looking for a replacement host."

Robert apologized for his actions adding, "I was wrong to exaggerate in statements related to my experiences regarding the Royal Family."

Vegetarian Gravy?

Tofurkey makes vegetarian gravy and it is sooo good! (The tofurkey roast is great too!!) I think they sell it at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.

Zippy's Chili in LA -- Help!

I am trying to find some Zippy's chili (from Hawaii) for my friend's birthday. He's from Hawaii, and Zippy's is his favorite. It comes frozen in a little box, and I've seen it at a market on Sawtelle before. But I went there today to get some, and they were all out!! They only had corn chowder and some currys. Does anyone know where I can find a box?? I tried all the markets on Sawtelle, including Nijiya's, but no luck. I need to get it by Tuesday, so there's not enough time to order it online. I will likely have to go buy it on my lunch break tomorrow, so if you know of any Japanese/ Hawaiian markets around Burbank it would be a HUGE help!! (I won't have enough time to go to Little Tokyo).

THANKS!!
