Thanks for the recommendations! I ended up grabbing a few drinks at the Angry Butcher and then had drinks and dinner at the Blue Hound. Both places were excellent! I was very impressed with the cocktail scene at both restaurants and the short ribs at Blue Hound were amazing. I will definitely be back next time i'm in phoenix. |

I'm in town for one night and staying at the Marriot Renaissance in downtown Phoenix and am looking for a good dinner/bar recommendations. Preferably something within walking distance or a short cab ride. A place with local flavor or mexican or a steak house (preferably non chain) would be preferred. I'll be eating alone so being able to sit at the bar and eat would be my first choice. Also, something on the more upscale side of things. After dinner planning to get a few drinks, are there any good bars in that area, maybe a craft cocktail type place. Thanks! |

Boston restaurant to buyout for a wedding I went to a wedding at Forum on Boylston St, it was really good. They had the cocktail reception downstairs and then the dinner upstairs. |

Seeking Input for One Hound's Guide to Boston Day Trips with Restaurants For Fairhaven, Elizabeths for a great dinner and drinks, Margarets next door is great for dinner (same menu as Elizabeth's but is BYOB). Also like Turk's in Mattapoisett for amazing seafood. Jakes in fairhaven is a great breakfast diner. Also you can't go to Fairhaven and not hit either Down the Hatch, the Bayside or the bitter end for drinks. In NB Cork is an amazing restaurant and wine bar |

I'm moving to Wilmington next month and was hoping for any recommendations. I'm looking for rec's for a good restaurant, a good chinese take out, good breakfast place etc. All the types of places you need around where you live. I've already searched the board and didn't find much. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! |

Any suggestions on what to get and where in chinatown that will help fight off this head cold? I'm thinking of heading to Xinh Xinh, any cold curing suggestions are welcome. Thanks. ----- |

Visiting Windsor, CA need recs Thank you all for the suggestions. I have one quick question though, what's the dress code for the nice date type places, should I be packing my suit or is that too much. |

Visiting Windsor, CA need recs Thank you for the recommendation, I checked out the Farmhouse Inn and it looks great. I live in Boston so I'm looking for any restaurants that have a more local feel, something that I wouldn't find in snow covered Boston. Are there any BYOB places? ----- |

Visiting Windsor, CA need recs I'm spending a week in Windsor and plan on hitting up the best that wine country has to offer. I'd love anyones recommendations on what I should see and where I should eat. I'm a completely non-picky eater and am looking for recommendations on what is the best the area has to offer, i'm willing to drive too. Also, a nice romantic date night spot would be helpful. |

Post Ballet Drinks and Dessert Any recommendations on a place to site and have a few cocktails and dessert and be able to sit and talk comfortably after the ballet on a saturday night? I used to go to the Bristol in the Four Seasons after the ballet, does anyone know if they still do the dessert buffet, is it good? Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks. |

I agree, those fries are insane, I even love just getting the truffle fries appetizer, it's a massive bucket of deliciously salty crisp fries with some melted cheese on them and an awesome aoili to dip them in. |

I like the burger at Kingston Station, how can you go wrong with bacon cheese and a fried quail egg. Also, had a really good duck burger at Lucky's recently. ----- |

I agree with MC on the fried clams. The lobster spagetti special is also amazing. |

This will be my second year doing the Allandale farm csa, I really enjoyed it and have found the produce to be real high quality and you get a real good amount and variety. The only downside is you have to pick it up at Allandale. |
