really weird. like you are adding a ton of artificial sweetener to everything. you cant taste sour or spicy. kinda ruins the flavor of the food in my opinion.

I've been once. Was totally empty except for me and George Clooney. It's pretty expensive for what it is. Not bad, but there are a lot of better places for your money in LA and even in Studio City.

Foodie Wedding Caterers in LA?
Heirloom LA is catering my wedding in a month. I really like their food and am very happy with them so far. I would highly recommend. You can taste their food at the new food truck and often at Silverlake wine tastings on Sundays. http://www.heirloomla.com/

Lukshon, A-Frame or Red Medicine
i was very disappointed with A-Frame as well as Chego. In my opinion Roi has a very heavy hand on the sauce. Kinda off-putting.
On the other hand, I really liked Lukshon. Can't comment on Red Medicine though.

if you get either of the owners they are amazing as are most of the staff. very excited about wine. they are a boutique store and everything they have is there cause they would recommend it. a lot different from wine house, kl, etc... you really cant go wrong.

I had one a while back at Hungry Cat that was very good. I also particularly like the one served at the Gold Room in Echo Park although I would not recommend going there if you are over 25.

Some of those places you mentioned are very "hip" not to mention great food. I think you are gonna have a hard time matching some of those places here. I would agree with Animal and Gjelina if your looking for something on the higher end. Other places that come to mind are Wurstkuche (I'll put my money on this one) and Bottega Louie.
