Just had the best lunch at a new place in WC. The family in from chinatown and also own a fish market. Great specials, BYOB, and great prices. Plus, looks like a downtown restaurant - her husband designs restaurants in philly
Where to buy fresh pasta sheets for lasagna near King of Prussia, PA?
I would try San Marco Pasta Co. - Downingtown. Carlino's - Ardmore or West Chester. Those are the only 2 places I get my fresh pasta. Also good in Delco are Springfield Pasta and Scaramuzzo's.
Source for cheese curds in Philly/Montco
I've gotten them from Wegman's, farmer's markets (Amish or small cheese farms), or call a specialty cheese/gourmet shop near you. I live in West Chester - and Talula's Table(kennett square) and Olde World Cheese Shop (gap) too - not too far for me.

Sushi quality fish in Chester co.?
Definitely call Gadeletto's, Andy (the owner) has said he can get sushi grade (if available @ market) fish as a special order for you. But only sushi grade tuna in the store all the time.
New Thai Restaurant in West Chester -- Sweet Basil
I really like noodi thai, try it at lunch most prices are under 10. The only so so thing was the pad thai, too sweet and saucey for my taste
Recession dining in the burbs?
The best! Where else can you get duck breast to $9.95!! Although Kerry (owner) said he may raise the price on that one - fair enough. Perfectly cooked just the way I like it - medium rare.
Restaurant festival this Sunday
Welcome everyone! West Chester has a great festival this Sunday from 12-5. Gets a little crowded so they do NOT allow dogs and prefer no strollers. But, a great experience for all, kids rides, lots of food, beer/wine garden (only drink there)

RAMS HEAD WEST CHESTER
I tried it yesterday and I had the lunch special for 8.95 - app., soup, entree.
Loved my ravioli soup, fried wonton was awesome!, pad thai chix not so good - too sweet, noodles overcooked, lacked tofu
Lots of other entrees around me looked awesome - just a bad pick w/ mine
where to pick up some chowish tailgate food (phl)
wegman's can whip up any kinda tray you're craving, huge variety in their prepared area.
only problem, it may not be convienent to get to closest one
Pod- Tuna Hand Roll...
I love the taste of the spicy scallop hand roll, but have also stopped ordering b/c too much nori. It's more the texture than the flavor - gets soggy in 60 seconds it seems like. I hate to be picky but true. I've gotten to where I order salad w/ whatever kinda handroll I'm feelin'
recs for weekend in West Chester /Kennet Square
I live in the borough of West Chester and just recieved a message from the major stating that Sat. from 2pm to 10:30pm are blocked off from New to Matlack St and Chestnut to Miner. I'd avoid town. Good luck parking and getting around - sounds hectic. Kennett is lovely. Half Moon Saloon is great for beers, snacks and exotic meat - beautiful upstairs dining. Va La Vineyards does a great wine tasting and very pretty. I agree on all the restaurants suggested. Also Possibly the Whip Tavern for an English Pub Meal and beautiful drive and The Orchard for fancier BYO meal too
Saturday Breakfast Wayne & West Chester?
I agree 150%. Market Street Grille has a great menu and everything from standard breakfast food, plus lots of neat specials more like a brunch menu. Warning - - there pancakes are huge!! A full stack may be a bit much unless (like us) you want to revisit it for dessert with ice cream. I can say, never been disappointed with food, price or service.

Crawdaddy's in West Chester
I have to agree, loved it on 52. But once at rt. 3 location - egh! Small portions, inconsistent food, charged for each indivdual drink - non-alcoholic (and 1/2 ice). I'm all over high street caffe and planning to try Kates Cajun or something like that at the booths corner flea market tomorrow. Always forget to go b/c they're only there Fri & Sat. Let ya'll know if worth the trip
