Just Us Cafe - both locations closed?
Someone has a cafe open there "proudly serving" Just Us coffee, it is not a Just Us cafe anymore though.
Just Us Cafe - both locations closed?
Gregclow I heard that the owner claimed bankruptcy and left. That is the word
on the street. Both locations are gone.
Delight Chocolates: brief review
I was so happy to see that they had opened. The exploitation in the cocoa industry is
horrific; hopefully this kind of shop will catch on and create awareness.
Suggestions for dinner around Queen and University
I think Little Anthony's is right there (Italian). I believe they have a nice wine list.
Have heard good things from visitors to Toronto.
Update on Beach Eats
Why is it so difficult to find good food in the beach? I have lived there off and on, and to find good food there has always been a challenge.

Il Fornello at the harbourfront has a great view, I don't know if it's vegan friendly.

Where To Entertain Out-of-towners at Yonge and Bloor
I was at Panorama a few months ago and although the view is great, the service was among the worst I have had in this city. The crowd was in the 22-25 yr old range.
Cafe Nervosa at Bellair and Yorkville is nice, they have an upstairs room that can be private as well.
Worst/Best Tourist Trap Food in TO
I agree, 360 is not worth it. The food was average and service was rushed.
Cheap and yummy takeout lunch, King West?
Just west of Bathurst are Prague and Portobello, both are good and fairly inexpensive.
Best Greek food on the Danforth?
I agree, I lived in Riverdale for a few years and Avli ended up being my favorite.
Food at Didier....or ?
I haven't been to Didier yet, but anything he is involved with is usually wonderful.
Dining in the dark at the Boulevard Cafe [moved from Ontario board]
Absolutely, it is still a business, and just because a film is shooting customers shouldn't be inconvenienced.
I want to eat good food for once with my coworkers downtown!
What about Shanghai Cowgirl on Queen just east of Bathurst. Everything from noodles to burgers to pasta, the food is quite good. They also have a patio in the back.
Must Dine in East Beaches
I was at Spiaggia several months ago and thought the food was good and found the
servers to be quite friendly. Maybe it was just in comparison to the terrible date I was on ; )
OPINIONS OF OLIVE&LEMON
I forgot to add, I'm glad you like it here in Canada, it's nice to hear.
OPINIONS OF OLIVE&LEMON
It's interesting that you say that about the waitresses, the owner used to own the College Street Bar, and the waitresses were known for being fairly cool to customers.
I haven't been to Olive & Lemon yet, but the owner's last restaurant served wonderful food.
I would say it was one of my favorite places for pasta and risotto. I hear that a place on King St. W called Sugar Cafe has some of the best pasta in T.O.
Old School style fine dining?
I'm so glad that you enjoyed your evening. Happy Anniversary!
Old School style fine dining?
I think you might like the Rosewater on Toronto Street.
Where to buy a slab cake in Toronto?
Daniel et Daniel has amazing slab cakes. I don't remember the price, but they were well worth it. They are located on Carlton at Parliment. Dufflets also has good slab cakes.
Best place in GTA to buy a nice large bar of dark chocolate?
Cocoa Camino and Divine Chocolate are both good and fair trade which makes it even better. Ten Thousand Villages carries both.
Great Bakery in downtown Toronto?
Prague, on King west of Bathurst, has very good cinnamon buns
