Help please with Amsterdam trip?

It's been a couple years, but I HIGHLY recommend De Kas. It's in a convvereeted municipal greennhouse. Glass ceiling. Beautiful space, set in a parklike area. No menu per se, but whatever the chef is making with what is fresh that day. Intersting wine choices available by the glass too. Also, restaurant Greetje. It seemed like authentic local food to me. AMAZING black pudding. I was a bit scared of it, but it was SO good. Lovely setting, it's almost like you are in someone's home.

Food pairing with Zind-Humbrecht Muscat?

Oooh ... I have a YUMMY recipe for halibut with a grapefruit beurre blanc ... that's a WONDERFUL idea, thanks!

Food pairing with Zind-Humbrecht Muscat?

I got a bottle of ZH Goldert Muscat. (Can't recall the year right now ...) I bought this without tasting it on a lark from my local purveyor of yummy wines. I am hoping for a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, but have no idea, really. What would you pair with an unknown Muscat?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Restaurant Eve for Lunch?

Depends slightly on which part of Eve you are eating in. The bar is the most casual, but I only wear *nice* jeans there ... I wouldn't wear them to the Bistro, and definitely not the Tasting Room, tho I suppose you aren't lunching there ... khakis and a nice shirt would be fine for the bar or the bistro for lunch I think. 8-)
