Dinner in Pt. Pleasant with kids?

I suggest 709 on Arnold Ave. They take reservations for parties of 6 or more. The space is a bit cramped but it's a nice change from the usual places

CIBO, Red Bank

The old CFBO from Bradley Beach is now in Pt. Pleasant - on Arnold Ave across from Spano's.

TOP 5 RESTAURANTS in Ocean County

My vote is for Daniel's in Pt. Pleasant

Catering needed: backyard wedding in Toms River, NJ

Joe Leone's in Pt. Pleasant. You can't go wrong. Everyone uses them in our area.

The Mixx: good food, weird portions

We were also there on Sat. night. My husband also ordered the lamb stew. He enjoyed it. I had the tuna entree, which was good, just a bit on the salty side. They have a few kinks to work out, but overall a good addition to Monmouth County area.

New Brick Oven Pizza Brielle NJ

I love Coal Fired in Bradley - one of the best pies around!

Casa Solar - Belmar - any thoughts

We're thinking of trying for the first time on Saturday - I've seen mixed posts - any recent updates?

Any good places in Bradley Beach?

I agree. I love CFBO - my favorite pizza in the area. So much better than P&E's.

Vivere Ristorante ~ Spring Lake, NJ

We went once over the summer. The four of us were not impressed. We were persuaded to order the house antipasto which was displayed in the next room - various grilled vegetables and it somehow took 30 minutes for them to serve it to us. Then another hour for our meal to come. The food was mediocre and very slow. We're not going back anytime soon.

Recommended Restaurants in Spring Lake, NJ

I agree about skipping Vivere. We're not going back anytime soon.

Moustache Falafel?

There's one in the West Village as well. Best hummus and pitas.

Any good places in Bradley Beach?

Coal Fired Brick Oven Pizza - I don't know why no one has mentioned it yet. Best pizza around. It's around the corner from Pianconnes (which I don't recommend)

Where to get good take-out lunch for day at the beach?

Joe Leone's opened a new location in Sea Girt - I belive called Gastronomica?? It should have everything you need for a day at the beach. It's very close to Rod's

Restaurants near Clifton

Can anyone recommend any restaurants near the Clifton area for a party or 12 on a Sat.night. Needs to be kid friendly, but not too casual.

A GOOD THAI RESTAURANT ?????????

I was never a fan of Siam Garden but Basil Thai is very good. We had it once about a month ago we weren't impressed with the chicken with fried rice, the glass noodles were good. We tried again last week and we were much happier with our dishes, one red curry and one pad thai.

New Thai in Wall/Sea Girt?

Any suggestions for Chinese food in Southern Monmouth county - we haven't found anything other than the typical greasy Chinsese takeout fare

spring lake, shore area

I agree that Brandl is terribly overpriced. We've tried Black Trumpet 3 or 4 times, also pricey, not overly impressed. Haven't been to Island Palm in the past 6 months, we did like it the few times we went.

the harrison in asbury park

Tried it once about a month ago, a bit pricey, but we would go back. My friend had the duck and he said it was v. good. I had a good steak.

Shipwreck Grille

We've run into the same problem with the reservations on a few occasions. I'm not sure why they have such a difficult time with the schedule. Food is good so we do go back.

Asbury Park, NJ

Bistro Ole is overrated. Taka is very good. We just heard great things about Harrison's.

Shipwreck Grille or Table?

Where is Table. I really like the Shipwreck - we went a few weeks ago, they made our party of 6 wait 1 hour for our table - we made the reservations a month ago - unfortunatly they're always crowded because the choices are poor in southern monmouth count.
Have you thought about Whispers??

Need suggestions for Asbury Park/Ocean Grove New Jersey restaurants

I haven't been to Captain Jack's in a couple of years, but we did enjoy it the 3 or 4 times we went.

Ridgewood Help? (moved from Mid-Atlantic)

Any recommendations for Ridgwood for this upcoming weekend other than Marra's

Lunch suggestion in Manasquan area

Main Street Trattoria - Manasquan. Anything from Joe Leone's in Pt. Pleasant. Tabletop Gourmet in Brielle - also Eloise's Brielle in Brielle, not much to look at, but it's always packed, great for breakfast or lunch.

Another great meal at Shipwreck Grill~Brielle

One of my favorite places as well - the goat cheese tart is great. Unfortunately it's hard to get a reservation now on the weekends, even in the off-season.

Underrated restaurants in Monmouth County

A little out of the way - but Labrador Lounge in Normady Beach
