Captain D's Seafood Restaurant
Today I had lunch at Captain D's. I ordered the Lobster Bacon Alfredo. It looked good in the picture.
When it arrived it was a pile of thinly chopped pink meat covering noodles and sauce. Honestly, it looked like cat food.
I tasted it and found the serving to be hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I left the food on the table and had lunch elsewhere.
I don't find mention of the Lobster Bacon Alfredo on the Captain D's website. It might be something they're testing in a few stores.
I feel like the victim of an experiment gone bad.

I'd like to hear your recommendations on where to have lunch on a Saturday before a 3:30 matinee of Cirque du Soleil.
We might prefer something on the KY side, but it doesn't have to be there. Considering Palomino (downtown Cincinnati).

Please recommend a place for Sunday lunch in Raleigh. I've looked on opentable.com and nearly all of the places listed are closed on Sundays.

Louisville - Please Recommend Place for Dinner After Show Sunday Nite
We have tickets to see Goldie Hawn at the Brown Theatre downtown Louisville on a Sunday night (2/20). The event will be from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
Can you recommend a place for drinks before the show, and place for dinner afterward? I was thinking of valet parking at the Museum hotel and having drinks there, then maybe going to Jack Frys after the event.
Some restaurants are closed on Sunday, but I know Jack Frys is open according to their website.
Any recommendations out there?

Coconut Oil
Simple question....
I wanted to try this recipe that calls for coconut oil, so I bought some coconut oil for the first time. When I got it home and opened the jar it wasn't oil at all, but was more like a hardened, white paste. Is that ordinarily the way coconut oil looks when you open the jar?
I scooped some out with a spoon and put it in a pan where it quickly melted and looked like oil.
The brand is Swad; no expiration date anywhere on the jar.

If you're traveling I-64, have lunch or dinner at Heirloom in Midway Ky. They probably won't have pizza on the menu but their daily specials and Mary burgers are wonderful.

Ripert is the coolest. I've dined at Le Bernardin and have watched him make the rounds in the dining room---ever smiling and gracious just like he was on Top Chef.
