What do you think are the best parts (tasting and texture) of a goose, a duck, and a chicken?

My mom called the chicken or turkey oyster the 'Pope's Bonnet' and it was always a joy to get that excellent tasty morsel. It is still my favorite part of taking a roasted chicken or turkey out of the oven.

I have to say that for a duck I prefer the crispy skin and breast, for the chicken it would be legs/thighs and wings as a honorable mention and for the turkey the drumstick.

They still serve excellent lunches in that incredible gardean area behind the storefront/kitchen. I'm a big fan of the 3 salad lunch special. They always have several good salads or vegetables and either a tuna or egg salad daily. Soups are good and so are the sandwiches. They also have quiche often. Good fresh ingredients, presented simply. A winning comgination for me. They do run out of items later in the afternoon. The center piece of the garden is that incredible camphor tree. Manicured lovingly.

Pasadena Taco Trucks

I think that King Taco is a good place to go, but I have to say that the tacos as the truck on Fair Oaks in Pasadena is better. I've tried the lengua, carnitas and pastor and all are great and the condiments really seal the deal. Its great that we have both to coose from. King tocos during the day, and the truck at night.

Figueroa Produce - New market in Highland Park

I agree that this is a great addition to the neighborhood. The guacamole is wonderful and reasonably priced and I can also vouch for the hummos and pita breads. They advertise local eggs that I want to try next. I wish them well.

pasadena discovery

Daisy Mint is a welcomed additon to Pasadena and they have added a lunch menu that features very good entrees at very good prices. If you have friends that don't like spicy they can request "round eye girl" versions. The soups are especially good.
