Seafood in Catalonian salsa roja at Can Ramonet in little Barcelona, Spain! Delightfully delicate calamari and all the accoutrements on the side ... (randomly chosen; this is a tough call, not to mention reaching into the trenches of one's memory...!).

Cape Cod with lemon Absolut and a splash of bubbly water with lime! Quick, easy, and little chance of being messed up when ordering at a bar! Soon enough I'll be macerating raspberries in lemon vodka overnight and mixing it with mint...

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Crespelle stuffed with seafood, mushrooms, or spinach and bechamel, or Creole Crawfish Crepes. Or another gratineed item - potatoes, perhaps, or eggplant parmigiana.
My favorite comfort food:
Potatoes, boiled or mashed with lots of butter, cheese, herbs ... guilty pleasure with deep roots. My homemade chicken soup is another fave.
