After my experience at La Cachette, and other places, I'm feeling a tad disappointed in the LA food scene.
It could be because I'm French, or because I'm a New Yorker, but I just haven't really seen anything appealing, in terms of dining options in this city.
Any suggestions for changing that?

I'm looking for food shopping outside of the large markets, and am looking to purchase meats through a butcher, because I can get a better selection.
I'd also like to find a really good cheese shop.
In addition, I'm looking for the best boulangerie, for baguettes and croissants.

"New York Deli" on SM BLVD.
Odessa grocery was insane, so we went across the street, to "New York Deli."
They asked if we were looking for caviar, which we were.
They pulled out a white bucket with caviar inside, and said that it was beluga.
I am not sure what game they are playing, but I am staying away.
