Tried going last week for dinner, but as a solo diner was shunted to a very narrow and comfortable bar. They said that it is "policy" to not seat an individual at the tables, even if several are open, as was the case when I was there. This policy is out dated, arrogant and obnoxious. I had been a loyal customer and usually came with my family, here and to the co-owned Inn on the Green, but this is disrespectful at a minimum. A polite letter sent to the owner on this subject has gone noticeably unanswered.
Easter in Orvieto/Todi area
We'll be on holiday during Easter staying in a small village roughly mid-way between Orvieto and Todi (Morruzze) and are looking for recommendations in the area for Easter Sunday, either lunch or dinner, on the informal side. We aren't actually seeking any kind of special holiday meal per se, just a place that is genuine and open on the holiday. The only limiting factor on our side is the attention span of our seven-year old son.

Grill marks on open-faced grilled cheese
The halloumi and the broiler are both good ideas. The halloumi can be grilled directly on the grill pan and then placed on a grilled piece of bread, and with a bit of lemon juice. This will taste terrific and look great, too. Terrific. Thanks.

Thanks, but I'm talking about grill marks on the top of the open-faced grilled cheese. Obviously my concern is that flipping it down on the grill pan will cause the cheese to stick to the pan.

Peking Duck
Looking for above average Peking Duck. The places most often mentioned are Peking Duck House, China Brasserie and Tse Yang. Any comments on these? Other recommendations? Decor doesn't matter.
Momofuku "new" - does it have tables?
Does the "new" Momofuku have any regular tables (as opposed to just stools and counter). We're looking for tables like they have at Momofuku Ssam Bar, but haven't been to the new Momofuku and the original didn't have the tables. We realize reservations aren't taken, but the tables are key. Thanks.

Where can I get a great tuna burger in NYC?
Union Square Cafe has it on the lunch menu - very good, but not cheap ($21). A while back I heard you could also get it at the bar at dinner, but I don't know if that's true or not.
Ssam bar tonight, what would you order?
You usually have to order in advance, but you can call now and see if they will have the Bo SSam, a whole pork shoulder (essentially barbecued) that is basically an entree for the whole table. You shred the meat with a fork or your hands and eat it wrapped in lettuce with wonderful condiments. The meat is delicious and great fun for all ages. We just had a group of nine with ages from five to 67 and all loved it.

These seem to be the two most recommended recipe software programs. Any thoughts on which is better and why? Will be using it to store and organize lots of recipes I collect, not so much for the recipes that are included in the program's own database.
