Hamilton and Ward Steakhouse in Paterson, NJ

Don't let the locale deter you from checking out this amazing find. Valet parking and safe! As we all know, steakhouses can be pricey. My husband and I dined with 2 other couple as well as foodies and we were all quite blown away of every dish on the prix fix 4 course meal for $65 a Person. All courses were generous portions throughout our meal I started with the crabcakes. Two nice sized portions arrived with a great amount a crab and the right amount of breaded cooked just right. We've all had hocky pucks before but not here. My friends ordered the clams oreganata and were very happy. My husband and other diners had french onion soup and said it was the best they ever ate. My second course was a salad, perfectly dressed.

Everyone was wowed by the taste, texture, palatability, juiciness and flavor of their respective steaks as well as the portions. Our sides of creamed spinack and and mashed potatoes were great and look forward to having them again tonight along with the filet mignon that I couldn't finish The price included a choice of creme blue, assorted cheesecakes, and sorbet along with cappacino-alll well done. I;m not looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow.

Off the Hook

This restaurant opened a few months ago where in the same spot where Clancy's was in the Publix shopping center. We visited this establishment 3 times. Fish Taco are a must. My husband loved the Cobb salad made with crabmeat instead of chicken. The Grouper Reuben is delicious but heavy as you would aspect. The service is great during lunch as well as midweek. The staff cannot handle holiday or weekends. In fact, they're a little on the dopey side. Everything is ala carte including bread-which isn't anything to write home over never mind paying $1 for a 1/3 of a loaf. I would definely go back when I know thier staff isn't overwhelmed

Loved this restaurant< El Palenque as well. Prices and portions make it a bargain, not to mention it was delicious.

Arthur Avenue Experience — Huge Disappointment

I'm assuming you never ate at Roberto's or Zero Otto Novo (sic). I agreed about the food shopping experience and also agree with the original [posters review of Rigoletto's being an assualt to Itlaian cooking

Went to Boondocks. Firstly, not a full bar. Secondly the staff was friendly, lousy food.

Daytona Beach for Birthday

Looking forward to trying Boondocks. In my opinion, La Crape in overpriced and overrated-by New York standards. I agree with Flip flops, and Spanish River. If you like salty food, go for the Garlic. Flip Flops is graat food and good fun. Also try That's Amore!! owners of Dolce vita openedi t last weekend. bon Appetite!

Love Love Love Flip Flops. Did anyone try the new place where Beach Buns existed? Scott's Bluewater is morte. Great sushi in the Lion's shopping center although service stinks, and the ac never seems to work.

Tried L'l Neals for BBQ. I found it a pleasant surprise but I still miss Pop's in Oak Hill.

We've given Scott's shots. yes the food is great. I find the staff miserable with exception to Lesley who I believe is an owner.

In regard to Dolce Vita, their bread is second to none, in comparible to Hoboken and Arthur Avenue Bronx where I'm originally from. Unforunatley their grilled veg appy is soooo oily. Fried Cal isn't worth the calories .pass on it. Stick to the veal and pastas
