Vosges Chocolate?

Yes, I've always wanted to order some Vosges chocolate, but the price of shipping is just too much! I would love to try the Black Pearl chocolate, but haven't heard of anything comparable.
For the original poster, I know that Zotter also sells a bacon chocolate bar. Here is their website: http://www.zotter.at/chocolate-galler...
But I'm not sure if shipping would be any better, as I had some bars brought back from Germany by a friend.

Recipes You've Never Heard of Outside Your Family

Well yes they are, but both Cynsa and Ruby Louise mentioned having pan-fried day-old doughnuts growing up. My family didn't necessarily wait until they were stale to re-fry them, but we always enjoyed them.

My boyfriend was horrified when I told him how good fried doughnuts are. I just love cake doughnuts fried up. Mmm. The worst part is that my parents will actually fry up other stuff too, like danishes, cinnamon buns, etc if they're getting a bit stale.

My grandma makes cabbage noodles all the time! I still don't like them though... Yours sound much better. Hers are just noodles and cabbage (cooked enough to be mushy, but not browned). That side of my family is Hungarian.

Lots of other things here that I grew up with - fried bologna, grilled cheese with potato chips in the middle.

not sharing recipes: ....huh? [moved from General Chowhounding Topics]

I've only once refused to share a recipe... It was for a cake recipe from close family friends who've owned a few restaurants, although I don't think they would have cared if I'd shared the recipe. But this was in high school, and the person who asked was known for picking her nose and eating it (really). I just couldn't bear the thought of my very favourite cake being made by someone who did that, so I wouldn't give it to her.
