Tasty Kake Fruit Pies--where are you?
Ralphs used to sell these many years ago along with the Krimpets but I have not seen them in so long. I use to love the peach pies. I know I can buy them from TastyKake online but I don't want to get a whole case. Has anyone spotted these yummy pies?
Korean Food Stand at Encino Farmer's Market question
We love the roasted sausages that are sold at the Korean food stand. They are skewered on a stick and taste smoky sweet on the outside and so savory on the inside. We would love to know where to purchase them so we can cook them on our BBQ but the owner of the stand didn't want to share his source. Does anyone have any idea where I can find them? Hello. We will be staying in San Francisco in August and I'm wondering if there are any places you might recommend for both Crispy Duck and Pork Belly. My boyfriend has never tried these dishes and I love them and want to introduce him to the delicious, fatty crunch of both dishes. We will be staying at the Huntington so we would prefer something close by in Chinatown. Thank you so very much.

Lobster at Malibu Seafood
I want to take my boyfriend to Malibu Seafood for lobster on his birthday. We will be camping within walking distance and I love the idea of eating lobster outside while watching the waves. I've seen people collecting their lobsters at the counter so I know they are available but I would love to know about your experiences with Malibu Seafood's lobster and would also love suggestions of what to order in addition. French Onion Soup
I've always really enjoyed the french soup at Chez Nous in Toluca Lake. It's served steaming hot in a crock with lots of gooey melted cheese. There croissants are delicious too
Best Hashbrowns in Los Angeles Area
The very best hash browns I ever tasted were at the Tamo'shanter's brunch. They were perfectly brown and crisped to a fair thee well on the outside while still retaining their creamy potato goodness on the inside. Everything you could want in a hash brown but the very best and most unique thing is that they taste like they are fried in steak grease. Yummy.

Jitlada for lunch today
While I am an avid Thai food fan I do not have any experience eating southern Thai cuisine and I'm excited to be going to Jitlada for the first time today for lunch. I recall having once seen a post, perhaps by Das Ubergeek or Sauce Supreme, suggesting things to try. I have searched the board and can no longer find it. I love spicy food but don't want to order things so hot I cannot taste the food itself. Also, my boyfriend who is going with me seems to be somewhat apprehensive about the heat level but he is open to the experience. Can anyone offer some menu suggestions? I know I'm having the green mango salad, it just sounds amazing. I love curries, too. Thanks in advance for your help. Also, if anyone has the post where a menu was suggested I'd love to see it again
