How Do Lefties Peel Vegetables?

I believe my favorite peelers have been OXO, and I can honestly say that I appreciate it. I ran into a right handed pie server last Thanksgiving and oddly annoying for something so simple.

Thanks for thinking of us left handers!

Spaghetti and Meatballs

Okay, so they didn't upload the recipe to the page correctly the first time. I kinda wish they would remove all of the comments so people aren't getting confused seeing snarky replies.

Anyway, I enjoy using two-thirds beef (probably ground chuck) and one-third pork sausage, something a little spicy.

Ball them all up, put in a glass dish, and microwave them for a moment. By cooking them a tad bit like that I found you can them throw them in your pan and they keep their shape well while rolling them around as necessary.

Tax Yourself Thin in 30 Days or Less

And what is the money going to be spent on? "initiatives to combat obesity" Oh, thanks for making that clear. I would be requesting specific plans before forking over any money.

I agree that obesity is a problem. I'm finally fighting it myself after many years. However, I don't really think that government should be making these kinds of decisions for us, especially when it would cost a business a decent amount of money.

Fast-Food Makeovers

I really enjoyed the photography, but I must say seeing some of the individual blobs of food helps me not miss going to those places at all.

Will certainly be keeping an eye on that site.

Terry Nichols and the Terrorist Diet

I think that the real question would be, does he believe that he was created by God to kill people? If you are going to take away people's right to life and happiness, then you shouldn't expect to keep yours.

This is honestly something I really enjoy, and am pretty decent with. If you let your imagination run wild you can come up with some really cool concoctions.

Your Kids Aren't Allergic

While I am only 27, and not yet near the "get off my lawn" stage of life, I think kid's really don't play outside as much as they used to. Maybe I just have a really strong immune system naturally, but I figured that going outside, being in the dirt, and all sorts of other places built up the immune system. We already know that continual use of anti-bacterial hand sanitizer kills the good stuff to, and lowers people immunities.

Healthy Hot Pockets

Lots of companies have divisions with healthy and unhealthy items. It is nothing new for businesses to want to make money from a variety of people. Move along.

And to stay on topic, while they might taste okay, is the pocket a decent enough meal? Maybe pair it with a salad?

5 Guys opened in Long Beach

The burger place? I wouldn't really bother with it honestly. The food is okay, in my opinion, and it was "neat" to choose from a variety of toppings, but it's really just another burger place.

Does Gum Really Take Seven Years to Digest?

Yeah, gee whiz, what is with little children these days when they don't believe what their parents tell them?
Everyone knows that this was used as a scare tactic for kids. So I find it even more depressing that you, ruth, can't use your own common sense to answer your own questions.

Only Prissy Moms Avoid HFCS

I have cut HFCS out of my diet as much as possible. Not only have I had to add two holes to my belt in about three or four weeks, but I have also done it because I actually have a history of gout. Yeah, weird, but it still exists. HFCS is very bad for that, but cutting it out has, along with a lot of other bad things, has helped me out, and I haven't had to take medicines yet to fix it.

It may be okay in small doses, like most anything else, but I am happier without it.

A Plunge into Cheesy Lava Sauce

I gave the volcano taco a whirl and ended up deciding that it was overall too boring when compared to some of their other offerings. I'm pretty sure I've had that "spicy" cheese sauce on something else of theirs.
Perhaps the Taco Bell I tried it at cooled their sauce down, but I do, at least, give them credit for tossing at something a bit new.

Shelf-Stable Ice Cream Float Disaster

Ah man, but I want to be right despite my poorly written sentence.

The full story is that I was driving a moving truck at the time, and while in my own car I would have tossed the partially finished beverage into the back seat I did not want to forget about this foul drink in a truck I was paying to drive around.

Now that I am sufficiently off-topic I will add that the new Crunch bar sound great. I always liked the old version it is apparently "low-end crap."

Shelf-Stable Ice Cream Float Disaster

Nooooo, as I stated in the place where I posted my words (reading is fun) I only finished drinking the stuff because I did not want to throw the bottle out the window.

Now that I have fantastically belittled your tiny self you may call me a jerk.

Shelf-Stable Ice Cream Float Disaster

The floats review is dead on. The orange cream was tolerable, but the root beer was truly foul. The only reason I finished mine was because I didn't want to throw a full bottle out the window as I was driving down an interstate.
