Anyone have news on whether the food at Hunan House is holding up after the change?
yellow highlights for new messages- HELP!
I found in Firefox that the colors won't show unless you are using the page's colors (not your own or your system's). I've sent in a request already to see if they can change this. Also for entirely new threads nothing is highlighted.

When I custom set my browser colors, I no longer see the yellow "new" highlighting. Some of the lettering disappears, too, as if taking on the background color. Some examples are the top bar with the Boards | Features | Digest | My CHOW | Getting Started links and the "LATEST POSTS FROM THE BOARDS" header on the Home Page.
My background color is a light grey, and the text and link colors are black, blue and purple (just a little less bright than the default) so it's not from lack of contrast. I haven't had this problem with any other websites.
Is there a way to fix this? I'm using Firefox.

On a related note, even though the thread is marked "New", you still have to re-read the entire thread to find that one post that was added. It would be great if the posts could also be individually marked "New".
This is similar to the search issue that I mentioned in another thread, where you search for the thread, then have to search again within the thread to find what you're looking for.
Generally speaking it is much more convenient in many situations to be able to view threads separately, and have links to them marked as read or not read, the way it was with the old software. That being said, I like the full-thread-on-one-page display when I am reading a thread for the first time.
What's with the search function?
It would be convenient, though, to have an option to view only the posts in a given thread that are relevant to the search. Long threads require a double search - once using the search tool for the thread, and once using the Ctrl-F way for occurences of the search terms in the thread.
