Need Creative ways to garnish drinks for a childrens party

The trick is with kids to keep their attention for more than ten seconds.
With little girls decorate the glass bottles (like old olive oil or balsamic glass bottles) with lint and beads with their name on the bottle neck with colourfull juice on the inside to match. With cork or screw on tops and keep the straw tied to it with the lint aswell. . Keep it healthy, bugger the sweets. Boys the same just get old green soldiers and hang them on the bottle with their names. Toys and healthy juices. Easy.

Water Hawthorn?!?

Does no one in the world know about this wonderful vegetable?

Water Hawthorn?!?

In South Africa this is a delicacy...
Its real name is Waterblommetjie directly translates to water flower.
It a gorgeous stew with mutton or lamb. Do you have any other recipes for this?
All I have is my mothers Stew Recipe wich is a family favourite.
Its a very simple stew with baby potatoes the Hawthorn and lamb with salt and pepper.
A very long and gentle cooking prosess but worth it, i just want to try something new.
Surprise me?

Pancakes anyone?

In South Africa Pancakes are flat as crepes and used for sweet dessertish foods mainly. Crepes are exactly the same, its just the french name for it, flapjacks are like crumpets, griddle cakes are waffles, and hotcakes are some weird old mans girlfriend. Its all relative I suppose...

The best in the world is to fry in a sautee pan with asparagus, olive oil, fresh crushed garlic and sesame seeds (no salt, pepper added when done) and when still crispy and almost cooked through slice camenbert over and let melt. Its gorgeous rich juicy and very healthy...

Help LÓrange

I have never done Duck Lórange before and i need some pointers on sauce.
I have googled it and 20 different styles have presented themselves, but i want a solid easy good recipe for the sauce ( the duck is easy compared to the sauce).
I want it simple fresh zesty and minimalistic, no cinamon sticks.
