Seem to have bought too much....and hate to waste it. Can you freeze it? |
where is it located? |

Yay!!! Sounds wonderful. Thanks for the update edible n. I'm glad it worked out for you. |

Thanks Dubchild. Sounds like a nice getaway. We're also planning a few nights in The County and wondered for those that know, which is the better of the two - East and Main or Pomodoro? |

Keep in mind, this was posted 3 years ago. I have not been back since so I can't say but I'm glad your experience was better. Maybe they have addressed their problems but at that time, a google search confirmed my negative experience. |

I think you, and your wife, will be very pleased with your decision and treated well. You should definitely let them know you're celebrating a special occasion. From what I can tell, they like to acknowledge these types of events and show their appreciation that you selected to celebrate at their establishment. I hope you have a wonderful time and please report back. |

Yup, that's it....The Bamboo :) Thanks TorontoJo. |

All these comments about the patio and pad thai are starting to remind me of that place that used to be on Queen West - forget the name now though. It was an institution. ?? It'll come to me...... |
I'm in the area often and have considered stopping in for a quick bite and beer. It's been around forever and seems busy enough. Can anyone comment on the food? |
Good Pub for Lunch in the East End Celi Cottage would be my pick. I'll throw in Allen's only for the patio which is lovely. Food and service is unpredictable. |

I think it would be perfect edible n. They are busy and the place has a buzz to it, but yet it's not crazy loud and you don't have to yell to be heard. We were on the way to concert so left before 8 but it was really starting to fill up by that time. I like how the tables are spaced and that you're not on top of the next table. The service is excellent too. If you tell them you're celebrating a special occasion I'm sure it would be recognized. Happy anniversary!!! |

Locally made grocery products (small(ish) producers/etc) - reviews Summerhill Market brand everything LOL Okay maybe I should be more specific - Their hummos is excellent!! Has much more depth than some of the other brands I've tried. |

Totally! |

Yes, agreed. Thank you Charles! |

What jlunar said sounds good to me. Definitely not italian but they have something for everyone. |

We had a very nice meal there the other night. The service was flawless and the food was really good also. The room is so comfortable, nice, bright and open. My brisket burger was perfectly done and Mr. MG loved his sea bass. Wines seemed to be a good value, although since we were going to the theatre so only had one glass. It was a rather rushed meal on our part, but definitely felt we need to make a return visit soon. The deserts looks fabulous. |

Discovered them today at The Brickworks Market. Fantastic sour dough, olive bread, baguette, and rye. Esp loved the black olive boule. Apparently they have a storefront in Picton but how lucky for us that they've brought their breads to the market. Can't wait to toast some up for breakfast tomorrow morning. Henry and Natalie are a lovely couple and I'll definitely be making this a regular stop. |

Roger is back! He's working on a new restaurant at Queen and Waverly due to open in July. I am very excited about this. |

2013 Food and Restaurant OPENINGS Agreed! |

Vintage Toronto Restaurant Photos wonderful....thanks for sharing. So happy The Noshery made it in :) |
Their policy has always been to take reservations up to 6:30, maybe 7 but not beyond then. |
Nah, they're packed and lined up at the bar as always It just makes more sense and easier to manage large groups, etc. Win win for everyone I think. |
They now take reservations at the Pasta Bar and Grill side. I thought I would pass this little tidbit around. You're welcome :) |
Me too! They are all different types of cookie to me. |
Summerhill Market. They don't deliver but one trip and you could stock up the freezer with whatever you want. Great meals of every kind...soups, meats, casseroles, pastas. You name it, they do it. |
Yes! That's the place justsayn. Sorry, I didn't even think to search first!! Sounds like I need to check this place out. As I said, their biscotti are excellent. Great flavour to them, you could actually taste the orange. Very fresh. |
Looks interesting.... On another note, is a biscotti a cookie? If yes, I've discovered the best biscotti EVER!! |
From the outside, the place is really starting to take shape. I like what I see so far. I am eager to check this place out. I've always mourned the loss of Cafe Brussels and hopefully Das Gasthaus will be a fine replacement. |

I don't have any problem with the decor at Scaramouche. It's understated for sure but still classy. Their chairs are extremely comfortable and I like that you don't feel crammed in. But go on their website and judge for yourself. You get a pretty good idea from the pictures. |
Totally agree. You will never go wrong with Scaramouche. The food is excellent, service is top notch. I can honestly say I've never ever felt disappointed. In fact quite the opposite. Every time we leave, I can't wait to go back!!! It really is a perfect evening. |
