San Juan and Rincon, Puerto Rico - need dining suggestions

We are going to Puerto Rico in July and would like some dinner suggestions. We'll spend one night in Old San Juan and the rest of the trip will be in Rincon. Found a few posts and suggestions for Old San Juan but can't seem to find anything in Rincon. While there will be two days of fishing with the hopes of catching dinner on those days, we'd like a few suggestions just in case the fishing plan falls through. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pizza in Charlotte?

Just wanted to second scpierce's recommendation on Luigi's. Much better than Fuel and Portofino (which I still like). It's in the same shopping center as the Super Wal-Mart at S. Tryon and 485. Usually get pepperoni or just cheese so I haven't experienced the canned 'shrooms.

I've also been to Wolfman's Pizza several times. It's good but not NY-style pizza good.

Three days in Charlotte - suggestions please!

Great suggestions from the board so just thought I'd give a rec for lunch near South Tryon Street. If you like southern/soul food, you may want to check out LaWan's in a little strip mall at the corner of S. Tryon and Arrowood. If you get the chance, I completely agree with Price's. The best fried chicken ever!

Carpe Diem is always a great experience and one of my favs. Recently went on third visits to LuLu's and Roosters and thought both were quite good. If checking out LuLu's for Sunday brunch, go early and bring your patience. Went a few weeks ago for Sunday brunch and they wouldn't take reservations for parties of less than six. Friendly servers made up for the somewhat slow service. If you don't want to venture too far from downtown on Sunday, there's always Mert's which is within walking distance from the Marriott. Enjoy!

Restaurants in Pawley's Island/Murrell's Inlet area?

Thanks for the great suggestions everyone!

Restaurants in Pawley's Island/Murrell's Inlet area?

I'm off to the beach this Thursday afternoon and looking for recommendations in the Pawley's Island and Murrell's Inlet area. I was down there a few years ago and went to Louis' a few times. Any suggestions? We're up for anything!

Bentley's on 27 in Charlotte?

I've only been to Bentley's on special occasions. I've had good food and good service the times I've been there. They also had some interesting specials on the nights I've been there which were very good. If you decide to go, be sure to ask for one of the booths at the window to take advantage of the views. Also, get there a little early so that you can enjoy a drink in the bar where the views are great as well.

Brunch in Charlotte?

I've got friends coming in town from the DC area next weekend and I'm trying to find a place for Sunday brunch. I'm not a big fan of Pewter Rose or Mert's for brunch but it's been a few years since I've brunched at those places. I live in South Charlotte but I'm willing to travel (you have to be if you leave in Charlotte, right?) for a great experience. 'Hounds, can you help me out?

One night in Charlotte/NC: On the hunt for BBQ

As a native Charlottean, I agree that Charlotte just doesn't have any real good 'cue. Make the trip to Lexington--definitely worth it. Out in Ballantyne, Table is open for lunch so you should definitely check it out if you get an opportunity. Also, there's a new restaurant out there, Jade, that's asian fusion. I've only been once for lunch and enjoyed it. Enjoy!

Atlanta, GA Dining Suggestions????

Just back from a conference in Atlanta myself. Had a great dinner at South City Kitchen this time around. Had BBQ at Fat Matt's as suggested by a local one night. Not bad but I'm from NC so I may have been comparing to our 'cue. Fun experience though. Mediocre experience at The Globe but was there in September 2006 and had a great experience so I'll give it another try next time. Enjoy!

Former Atlantan looking for casual eatery along the I-75/85 corridor

I'm in ATL for a conference this week and a friend and I just got back from a great meal at South City Kitchen. I started out with the Southern Panzanella Salad--very good with lots of flavor--and the Chicken and Dumplings, which was good as well and was prepared in a way that was unexpected. My friend had the jambalaya and raved about it. We had 8:45pm reservations and although it was packed when we got there, we got great service.
