Amy Goldman's "The Heirloom Tomato"
There are recipes in this book, but the true appeal of Amy Goldman’s The Heirloom Tomato is the information it provides for gardeners and the wonderful photographs of tomato varietals taken by Victor Schrager. Goldman and Schrager have teamed up on two previous books, one on squash and one on melons, but this is the book I would have loved to give my tomato-growing grandmother back in Ohio, if she were still around.
