New Finds: Hook and Go Shopping Cart
Lugging home groceries isn’t easy for the car-free urban shopper. Either you confine yourself to what can be carried on the bus, or you have to drag a large, unwieldy granny cart to the store with you. But wait! You don’t anymore.
The Hook and Go Shopping Cart is a svelte alternative, folding up into a much-more-draggable size than the granny cart, and expanding into a sturdy rolling conveyance with hooks to hold your shopping bags (reusable, of course). Roll it through the market and then roll it right back home. Maybe you can even roll it right next to your bed and eat out of the bags with your fingers.

$70 for a plastic caddy? Kind of pricey considering golf caddies go for around $30. Throw in another $40 and you can get one that's motorized.
Id like to see the kind of stylish two-wheeled sopping carts, with biggish wheels and a closed storage area that they use in Venice. those things roll over the cobbles and bridges with ease. this thing lools alittle flimsy for the price.
I bought a Hook and Go about 3 months ago and I remember thinking the same things. It looked cool but I didn't know if it would be sturdy or not. With all those bags hanging on the front, it looks like it will just tip over.
Once I started using it, I found the cart to actually be very balanced, even with 8 full bags on the front. It's really well designed and it evenly distributes the weight from the bags. Just thought I would add my 2 cents! =)
P.S. I bought mine from here: http://www.cartsonthego.com
- I think you can find it under the folding carts category.
