New Finds: Dancing Timer
It can be very disconcerting to have a kitchen timer DING loudly when you’re trying to concentrate on fluting your pie crust or what have you. But the “Boy” Time Out Timer does not buzz, ring, chime, or clang: Instead, the robot guy moves his head and plays a samba tune. That sounds nice.
The timer ’bot is made by French company Pylones, which manufactures other whimsical kitchen gear such as a Russian doll pepper grinder I’ve got my eye on. I’m just a little worried it would make me look like the kind of gal who has a row of stuffed animals on her bed, know what I mean?
