The Accidental Wine Company
Wine bottles get messy, and because retailers and restaurants can’t sell them with stained, crooked, or outdated labels, an alternate outlet was needed. Enter the Accidental Wine Company, which scoops up the less than perfect bottles and offers them cheaply via its Web site. The only downside is that you never know exactly what you’re going to get. Because the inventory is so random, you can request a price point and a preference for white, red, sparkling, or port—but then you have to just wait and see what shows up.
