Bloom Markets
The spots for Bloom markets are the funniest supermarket ads (via Notcot) I’ve ever seen—think The Office meets Supermarket Sweep. Bloom is based in North Carolina and is modeled after the European trend of smaller, hipper markets (Fresh & Easy is a similar West Coast chain that is owned by British Tesco). Who knows if these places will measure up for the industrial-size-mayo-jar-loving American, but the advertising makes me think they’re not interested in that demographic anyways.

I think they're a great idea.
I'd like to hear more about them from customers.
Is this some sort of meta product placement? An ad for
Blooms disguised as a report about Bloom's ads?
Hey Chuckles-
While it's a good theory, I really do like the spots. We're surrounded by advertisements as it is, so why not give credit to one that's actually (to me at least) entertaining. Also, I hope it opened some eyes about these new kinds of markets, which seem to be doing pretty well.

I'll pretend not to notice that you cleverly dodged the question ... :)
