Date a Chef
Time Out New York really takes the chefs-as-sex-objects thing seriously. Last May, the magazine wrote about chef groupies, and now it offers up a list of available kitchen hotties for you to stalk—er, date. The swinging singles include spiky-haired Anne Burrell, former executive chef of Centro Vinoteca; the Woody Allen–esque Sebastian Zijp, executive chef of Bar Blanc; and self-described “simple guy” Christophe Bellanca, executive chef of Le Cirque.
What are these food-lovers looking for in a mate? Matthew Roff, co-owner of Franklin Park and other hot spots, wants “girls who know how to fucking drive” (surely there’s a bitter road trip story there). Anita Lo of Annisa, Bar Q, and Rickshaw Dumpling Bar wants a girl who will “eat everything” (ooh la la). And Phet Schwader of Talay agrees: no picky eaters. “If you’re a picky eater,” he says, “it doesn’t matter how hot you are.”
Hilary at Desperate Chefs’ Wives wants to be updated if anyone makes a love connection. I’m sure Time Out will be all over that—what could be hotter than a chef’s wedding spread?

OMG, hysterical. Love it. I can drive.
I'm in a relationship right now, but if I were still in the dating pool, I wouldn't date a chef. Chefs work long and irregular hours. And "prime dating time" is the time they're usually at work. That said, there are some cuties out there...
IS MAGUY LE COZE AVAILABLE ? I'D VOLUTEER TO WASH DISHES AT LE BERNARDIN WITHOUT PAY FOR ONE YEAR !
I am a single innkeeper and would love to date a chef-with a pickup truck!
