Prosciutto

Prosciutto is an Italian delicacy, both bone-in and boneless, cured by salting a pork leg and then air-drying it for 1 year or more. Italian prosciutto marked for export to the United States must be aged an extra 100 days to meet American specifications. Italian-style prosciutto is also produced in North America.
