Pop-Up Pitas
The Design Blog, an insanely prolific celebration of fancy new-school design, recently presented a mesmerizing computer animation of what a pita toaster might look like, for all your robotically driven toasted pita sandwich needs.Writes the easily excited Atul of the Design Blog:
I stay alone most of the times and thus believe that sandwiches are the ideal breakfast. But the problem with getting sandwiches ready is my sad toaster needs me to be there or else charcoal would be my breakfast. Something that could pop up baked sandwiches without the need of you being around is thus the best variant as far as I am concerned.

I don't get it. Maybe he just needs to buy a toaster that works. Or turn down the heat setting. If my toaster pops up a burned bagel, then I know I need to lower the setting.
