Crime and Carbonation
I’ve followed The Sopranos from the beginning. The Soprano family and their friends have sipped and swilled lots of beverages over the six seasons of the series: wine, beer, whiskey, fresh-squeezed orange juice, espresso, champagne, smoothies. The one thing I don’t think I’ve ever seen them drink is an Italian soda.
Don’t tell that to the Imbibe company, which has begun producing a line of … get ready for it … Italian sodas under the Sopranos name
Available in three flavors, Amaretto, Chianti, and Limoncello, Sopranos Old Fashioned Italian Soda is a smooth, nonalcoholic libation, presumably perfect for sipping while watching strippers at the Bada Bing, guzzling after a hard afternoon of scraping earthly remains off of walls and carpets, or as an accompaniment to some of Artie Bucco’s fine veal piccata.
