Aquavit, a neutral spirit flavored with caraway, anise, dill, and a host of other spice combinations, is a nubbe, or schnapps, meant for swigging from a tiny glass. Heavily consumed throughout the solstice, it helps revelers sing and act out one of the best-known drinking songs, "Små Grodorna," or "The Little Frogs."
