Croq-Télé (Almond Cookies)
Dorie Greenspan's recipe for these salty almond-butter cookies, in her book Paris Sweets, came from the Parisian Pâtisserie Arnaud Larher. "The salt is really a surprise," says Greenspan. It heightens the flavors of the almonds and butter. Croq-télé means "TV crunchies" in French, which is fitting for these rounds. If you're not careful, the whole batch may disappear before the next show.
