Traditionally, sufganiyot (Israeli-style filled doughnuts), eaten during Hanukkah, are filled with strawberry or raspberry jam. But these days, you can walk down the streets of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and find them filled with white chocolate, halvah, or pistachio cream, and topped with rainbow sprinkles, drizzles of chocolate, or eggshell-blue and cherry-red glaze. In that spirit, we've developed four doughnut recipes made with unusual doughs and fillings. Mix and match the fillings with the doughs if you really want to get creative.
