  • Weak. Cooks have been AVOIDING lumpy gravy for decades by first adding the flour to ice water then slowly stirring the cold flour mixture into the drippings and spices as the final gravy-step: no lumps! So poor was this video on this point that I doubt I'll take any future advice from this site.

  • ha! I mis-read the title as how to MAKE lumpy gravy

  • Sieve doesn't work as I tend to find I end up keep pushing it through so the lumps keep coming together. Definitely Blend it in the blender. They can still get away from the stick!
