This episode of My Go-To Dish features Mindy Segal, owner of Mindy's HotChocolate Restaurant and Dessert Bar in Chicago. Segal has some serious flair when it comes to nontraditional desserts; here, her farmers' market haul goes toward a rhubarb-strawberry consommé. To make her go-to dish your own, see the recipe.

Wow, such negative comments. I thought she kicked butt.
Hi TSAW. Here's a link to Mindy's recipe (it calls for goat cheese):

Deborah from CHOW
what kind of cheese was that?? does she say? I must have missed it.
Wow - I am really shocked at the haters here at Chow. It used to be that you could post recipes and suggestions on any foodie website and be safe. Not anymore obviously. The recipe looks fantastic. I'll try it this weekend.
Seriously. Get the hell over yourself. The kicker is how full of herself she comes off. Ick.
Consommé is a CLEAR soup... NOT that cloudy stuff you made.. Don't try to redefine the word.
And what type of professional sticks their very dirty fingers (you see them at 4:14) to taste food. USE A TASTING SPOON, you shoe maker.
That was about 25$ worth of produce.
When fruit is that fresh, why cook it? This recipe looks like it's too much of an effort for such a ho-hum dessert.
Tyson Cole at Uchi and Uchiko nails it!! His creativity captures the essence of a sublime eating experience. Sensory dining excites the eyes and the taste buds. Yummmmy!
