  • I boringly but happily make salmon the way my grandmother did. In a pan with a tiny bit of butter, low heat with lid. Turn it over after about 10 minutes, cook a while more. Mix together sour cream, a little white wine, and lots of fresh or frozen dill. Salt and pepper the salmon, pour the sauce over, lid back on, cook it a bit more, eat.
