Hey Thanksgiving cooks, we want to see your best recipe! We want to give you prizes!
We've partnered with Instructables to entice you to show us how you achieve Thanksgiving greatness. Instructables lets you upload how-tos in easy-to-read steps. (Browse around a little; you might end up with brave ideas for making a gravy recirculator or sweater mittens.)
All you've got to do is write an Instructable of your best recipe—they make it easy to upload your steps, including photos. The contest is open until November 28 and we'll announce the winners on December 6.
And what, exactly, will you win? A sweet Thermapen instant-read thermometer, plus some hot CHOW and Instructables schwag. Read the fine print for all the details.

flavor turkey (anywhere from 16 lbs - 25 lbs) with paprika, garlic powder and black pepper. Place unstuffed, uncovered turkey breast side down in a shallow roasting pan. Oven (preheated) to 500 degrees. Place fresh carrots and celery all around turkey, and roast for 50 minutes. Turn turkey over to breast side up and roast another 50 min. Lower oven temp to 350 degrees and once again turn turkey over to breast side down. Do not put any butter on bird, or baste. Roast for 20 minutes if bird is 18lbs or more, and 15 min if less than 18. Turn one last time (breast side up) and roast for a final 20 minutes. It is hard to believe you've only roasted a 20+lb turkey for a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes, but it is foolproof...crisp on the outside and tender and juicy inside. Plus you've allowed time to enjoy your family and perhaps fix the rest of your dinner. ENJOY!-COLLAPSE
