Pumpkin + Beer = Clever … For a Minute

Salon featured a video yesterday on brewing beer in a pumpkin, and both the topic (cask-o'-lantern) and the franchise (Working Class Foodies) struck me as clever. (The video is actually a show from Hungry Nation.)

Unfortunately the video doesn't live up to the clever quotient. For one, it's too long (10-plus minutes?! I lost interest around 3:10—but in all honesty I was watching for fun, not because I actually want to learn how to brew beer in a pumpkin). And the camerawork is a little rough. And the talent grows ever more annoying as the video wears on.

However, I'm a sucker for shots of a cute dog (hey Humphrey!), I really liked the music, and who wouldn't click on a story about brewing beer in a pumpkin? For reals.
