  • Watch it with the baking soda, it can and does cake up and exacerbate the clog. No joke.

  • Ditto on the baking soda addition. Works even better.

  • yep, better with baking soda that makes it foam up and clean the whole pipe, not just the bottom.

  • Add a cup or two of baking soda before the vinegar and it it becomes a homemade Drano solution. I used this after clogging the drain with potato peels.
