Watch it with the baking soda, it can and does cake up and exacerbate the clog. No joke.
Ditto on the baking soda addition. Works even better.
yep, better with baking soda that makes it foam up and clean the whole pipe, not just the bottom.

Add a cup or two of baking soda before the vinegar and it it becomes a homemade Drano solution. I used this after clogging the drain with potato peels.
