At least the genetically altered Salmon made the news so people can actually see whats going on with our food supply. I've been trying to educate my friends plus anyone else that will listen, how so much of the foods we buy every day are not as they used to be. That many of those foods are now GMO, or genetically altered/modified. The Canadian and US goverments seem to want to keep GMO information from the consumer. If manditory labeling is brought up, its quickly turned down. My biggest complaint is why do the goverments not want us, the consumer who eat these foods everyday, to know? Really, how many out there know that most cooking/salad oils, dressings, and mayo's are now genetically altered? I choose not to purchase or eat any food that I find is GMO. I would never purchase the Salmon that is featured in this news report. If I couldn't get my salmon directly from the boats or my local fishmonger, I would go without. Working in a major grocery chain for almost 30 years, I know not to buy "fresh" fish of any kind from a grocery chain. Best advice I can give is get your fish fresh from the boats, if thats not an option, buy it from your local fish market, NOT your neighbourhood grocery store. If anyone is interested in learning more about GMO foods, heres a few links you might want to peruse.

As for lady Gaga and her meat dress... Why is it that so many people are tsk tsking the female sports reporter from Mexico who wore tight clothing at game she was covering? The reported was harrassed by the players and its being said by most people, that she deserved it because of her tight clothing.

Yet Lady Gaga can walk about LAX & Spain in her barely there bra & bikini panties, and no one even blink an eye. Double standard much?-COLLAPSE
