I'M GOING TO STOP WASTING MY MONEY ON STORE BOUGHT BRANDS . THIS RECIPE SOUNDS WONDERFUL .
This is delicious - even with substitutions. I grated part of a shallot in place of chive, added some basil from the garden, didn't have sour cream or yogurt on hand so upped the mayo a bit. A little thin (obviously the sour cream would help with this), but crazy delicious. I always put mayonnaise and a lot of vegetable to make a Ranch Dressing. I love the taste, its really good.:)
I make my own ranch dressing by using the brand seasoning packet and buttermilk. I don't like the taste of the bottled ranch dressing.
I will be trying this recipe. Thanks
For absorption of vitamins, fat is necessary! Nonfat salad dressings are therefore stupid and medically contraindicated. So as between lowfat and regular, let your taste (and the rest of your diet) be your guide.
I'm with Shin. I HATE lowfat/nonfat plain yogurt. And I'm tired of the no-fat-fad.
Love the natural approach to this over-processed American favorite.
I still find it funny that people still associate low fat with "healthy." Check the sugar levels on most of those low-fat options or the the rise in obesity and diabetes in America following the low-fat craze.
I made it and loved it! Well done!
Healthy? It's a load of high-fat ingreds with a few tablespoons of vegetables. Substitute nonfat or lowfat plain yogurt for the buttermilk/mayo/sour cream and then you've got a healthy ranch.
That recipe looks good to me.
Healthy ingredients , pretty to look at and it will give anything you put it on a good twang.
Thank you
