How, with this Flexible skewar, does one prevent the dreaded "Spinning Food" issue?
This selection of new tools is simply ridiculous. It's crap people don't need and expensive at that. A $96 thermometer? A $25 grill flosser? A $50 meatball former? Folding utensils? Really?
Call me old skool, but when I look at this list, I see nothing but the meat thermometer that will help folks overcome the all-too-often-made mistakes of casual grillers.

Forget the salt slab and the meatball press and do one of those great Chow features on summer grilling -- and this time do it on the 10 tools and techniques everyone must have/do to be successful on the grill.-COLLAPSE
Another call for GrillGrates - I love them :)
Help... Please, I am frantic... I am lloking for a source to purchase "Jack Daniels Smoking Chips" for the BBQ... either orderable online or available in the southern New Hampshire area. I have used them for several years and swear by them, but alas, cannot seem to access them this year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much...
I love the GrillGrate! I bought one Memorial Day weekend at Ace Hardware. Greatest thing yet!
Love gadgets! This is a great list, but it is missing one thing...
#11 should definitely be the GrillGrate! http://grillgrate.com
GrillGrates are a new and improved grilling surface that simply grills food better. You can eliminate flare-ups, create beautiful sear marks. And they are easy to clean.
I got one for my husband for his b-day and he loves it!
The flexible skewers are stupid. I have a set of them, and they never get used, traditional metal sticks are better. Yes, you can marinade with them on the skewer, but they are impossible to flip when they're on the grill. They seem like a great idea until you actually grill with them.
Who grills meatballs...people who measure their temperature with $96 meat thermometers??
Yeah, I should have listened and not read that list. That meatball griller is seriously $50! $50!
Alton Brown would be pretty steamed... That dumb meatball griller thing is probably one of the worst bulky uni-taskers I've ever seen... besides, how much harder could it possibly be it to keep a meatball round on the BBQ than it is in a pan?
This is a list for people who have too much money and not enough resourcefulness. What's wrong with using string to tie up my meat anyway?
I wish I could have the 5 minutes of my life I wasted looking through that list back...
