How to Unstick Your Beer Coaster

It’s an age-old problem: coasters stuck to beer pints. But instead of flicking the coaster in frustration, Sam Merritt, founder of Civilization of Beer, has a neat trick to ensure your coaster stays on the bar.

  • Messy salt everywhere, that would annoy me. Especially if I was a bartender. I do the pinkie tap, no biggie.

    It wasn't so annoying when few knew about it, but now it's gotten to the point that I could open my own salt mine since so many people know this "secret"

    I implore coaster makers to improve their product because I am tired of it (and lazy)

    I also implore people ordering drinks to understand that a sprinkle of salt (If you're going to do it) does not mean 1/2 of a shaker. I mean, all it's doing is not allowing a seal of water so you could sprinkle anything there really (no coke though, it might look weird if you start licking the bottom of the glass.)-COLLAPSE
