  • okay -- it's mid-january. can't we nix the "fake blood" story/graphic, etc.? are we going to pretend to have fake blood in honor of the revolutionary war or something? http://lehrman.isi.org/media/images/cache/George_Washington_in_the_American_Revolution.jpg/360px-George_Washington_in_the_American_Revolution.jpg

  • Heh, I can't believe you actually tasted them. And I laughed when you said the second one tasted like burning. I'm sure I'm probably not the only one that envisioned Ralph Wiggum saying that very same line.''

It's just too bad I didn't see this in time for Halloween, but I'm definitely noting down the homemade recipe, for later use.

  • I used the other recipe featured on Chow Tips for fake blood and it rocked. I used the strawberry syrup and chocolate syrup mixture (more strawberry than choco) and the colour was pretty good. I made the concoction with my students and we had "Vampire Sundaes" a.k.a. "Blood Sundaes" a.k.a. "Blood Shakes" (when the ice cream melts).

  • Thanks for doing this so we don't have to!

  • My two daughters (5 and 7) want to go as a princess and a vampire. I'm trying to mix it up a bit and get the vampire to be chasing a bloodied princess from door to door...excessive fake bood (for cheap...and tasty too, apparently) would be a great effect!

  • i love the supertaster series...it's hillarious. the side comments, the fact that you always taste the most non-food items out there, it's just the best. my favorite was when you got drunk. too much- keep it up supertaster!

  • Homemade blood rules.
