  • Chocolate and a red zinfandel. Lovely!

  • POINTS FOR EFFORT. Thanks for trying. Clearly the only solution is to skim off the plain chocolate bars and caramels while they sleep, and leave the Smarties and Starbursts and Candy Corn for the children.

  • okay, I'm with you on pairings with caramel or chocolate.

    But Starburst or Smarties? **shudder***

  • If it's chocolate, I can go with bourbon or a sherry-wood finished Glen Mourangie

  • Now see, seems to me that with most of those candies, you'd be much better off with a few fingers of bourbon or an aged rum.
