  • my mom did this on a red cotton dress that had some white trim. She washed the dress, the red bled onto the white trim, and I cried! Big, broken hearted, 16-yr old, gotta-wear-it to-the-dance-tonight sobs!

    Never fear, Mom always saves the day!

    Meyer lemon juice, soaked the red stains& hung dress in the sun, stains came out! Mom and lemon juice are the heroes once again.
