Securing Your Bottle Openers
Party-thrower Michael Gharabiklou knows that one key to a successful
Super Bowl party is ample amounts of beer. And to make sure your guests can access that beer, he suggests a few ways for hosts to secure their bottle openers. Because you don’t want anyone wandering around with an unopened bottle.
CHOW Tips are the shared wisdom of our community. If you’ve figured out some piece of food, drink, or cooking wisdom that you’d like to share on video (and you can be in San Francisco), email Meredith Arthur and tell us what you’ve got in mind.
Another useless Chow Video - who would have thought of using a piece of string to tie it down???
Its easier if you just have a stationary bottle cap opener affixed to the wall, and a basket beneath it to catch the caps, I sort of agree that those particular tips seemed really ineffective.
All I could think about was throwing a tight spiral across the room, with the bottle opener whirling around it!
I didn't think that the video was all that useful, but there's no need to insult his football skills. I think he looked fine.
That was utterly pointless. I love how he ties the opener to the table leg with like two inches of slack so you have to crouch down to open your beer.
Also, he looks like he's never thrown, or even held, a football in his life.
Pretty weak.
