Chinese Restaurants Open on Christmas
Skip the holiday entirely, or celebrate without cooking, in Florida, New York, and Los Angeles
If you don’t celebrate Christmas, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a good meal on the 25th of December. Luckily, while most of the country’s restaurants are closed, almost every Chinese restaurant we called in Florida,
New York, and Los Angeles will be serving—so if you don’t see your favorite listed here, chances are it might be open, too.
Here are restaurants that will be serving and the times they’ll be open. We picked them out based on their Chowhound reviews, and have included a little info about each courtesy of the community.
If you’re in another area and feeling inspired to share your discoveries, create your own Christmas restaurant list.
Roast Duck on Christmas!...beats the heck out of ham!
I was expecting to see a comment from A Christmas Story here.
Tis the season to be jorry!
Thanks Erich! I was hoping some one would bear me out. Shep was the funniest man that ever lived. Take that Racist Police!
I believe his comment was not racist, but rather a reference to the movie _A Christmas Story_, based on the book _In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash_.
mrbighotno.1, that's a racist comment.
This is our family tradition -- too much traveling on the holidays with no place to eat -- we now just opt for this every year that we can.
Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra - Ra Ra Ra Ra !!!!!
I spent Christmas in Chinatown here in LA a couple years ago and the whole section of town was open. All the restaurants, shops, and bakeries.
