Not just Top Chef restaurant wars, but personality wars too

With Dale Talde booted, the Top Chef kitchen is looking downright roomy. In last night's "Restaurant Wars" episode, the dream team from "Wedding Wars" reunited, leaving the nightmare team (or "short-bus all-stars," according to Dale) of Dale, Lisa, and Spike to their own struggle. What does Dale have to say? A lot. About Lisa, mostly. But what he really wants to do is make movies. Will there be a role for Lisa?

  • I hate that Dale got the shaft while Lisa is still on! There was a boo-fest at my place when they announced that. Unbelievable.

    As far as who will win... I'm torn between Stephanie and Richard.

  • I can't stand watching Lisa and her double chin any longer... she should have been long gone episodes ago.. Too bad Dale got stuck w/ her and Spike. I just wish they did a double elimination of Lisa and Spike and the show will immediately be so much better.

  • Lisa needs the boot- I agree. Not only does she have a rotten attitude and personality but her cooking is not worthy of her stay. Maybe it's editing- but she is down right - rotten. She needed to hang with Zoi and Laura and see that not all lesbians are angry. meow! I'm all over Richard and Stephainie- I am starting to soften to Antonia too- but let's face Richard deserves it- HE is the best...+READ

  • I knew the moment I saw Bourdain that someone was totally screwed. I love that man, and maybe I'm weird, but something about him is just plain sexy, but he does not pull the punches. Maybe it's that.

    And Dale, you can cook Asian food for me anytime, hun. I am anxious to try more, now that I finally have a reasonable grasp on Japanese food. Chinese has always been what was available since I was a kid, in a very sad sort of Chow Mein being billed as authentic, sort of way.

    I also love Philipinno food. My step sister's, step Mom, is Philipino and we always had tons of Lumpia (sp?) around the house when I was growing up. I miss it.

    And next Wednesday, God, if you want to prove you exist to the whole planet, I'd like to tell you about this girl named Lisa on this show . . . ;) Meow.
