    Often people think it's either incorrect or an affectation to serve red wine at a good temperature (as the Chow wine guy describes in the clip). But the truth is that all red wine, even very affordable, everyday drinkin' wine benefits hugely from being served at a correct temperature.

    I can't tell you the number of times I've been stared at for requesting an ice cooler at say, the neighborhood pizza place that serves those Coppola wines. The server is clearly thinking "These people are idiots, but what the hell, the customer is always right".

    It's really a shame there's such a misperception about this. Most people are more careful with the temperature they serve their Diet Pepsi at... I hope wine temperature becomes mainstream innformation soon, because it's such a shame to serve wine at its worst.-COLLAPSE
