  • a vegetable peeler
  • a knife
  • a baking sheet
  • aluminum foil
  • a timer
  • soy sauce
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • two to three carrots
  • a package of firm or extra-firm tofu
  • one green onion (optional)
  • toasted sesame oil
  • rice vinegar
